What should I do if I am having an emergency?

Please go to your nearest Emergency Room or call 911.

Why are most forms and payments submitted online?

As much as possible, this is a paper free practice.

How frequent are Telepsychiatry visits?

Telepsychiatry visits are determined based on current treatment plan. Medication changes require more frequent visits every 2-4 weeks.

Is my information HIPPA secure?

Yes. Telepsychiatry visits, Electronic Health Records and communication within the patient portal are HIPPA secure. E-mail correspondence outside of the patient portal and text messages are not HIPPA secure.

What forms of payment do you accept?

At this time, I accept payment via Zelle or Venmo (youngpsychiatry@gmail.com), credit/debit cards, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards.

How do you refill medications?

All prescriptions are electronically sent to the pharmacy via the patient portal. Please let me know at least a week in advance if you need of a refill.

What is your cancellation policy?

There is no double booking, thus appointments are reserved solely for you. Cancellation less than 24 hours and missed visits will result in a charge of 50% of your appointment fee. Thank you for understanding the importance of this policy.
